Skin Tag and Wart Treatments
No Appointments Necessary - Just print out this page and come see us any Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm or Fridays from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Give the secretary a copy of this page to allow us to see you without an appointment. For OHIP procedures please bring your OHIP card.
Foot Warts - Are covered by OHIP and thus you don't have to pay for their treatment. Multiple treatments are required. If these are not treated, they tend to spread and enlarge.
Hand Warts - The preferred treatment for all warts is Liquid Nitrogen. This cold liquid is applied to the wart causing a small frostbite, which kills the wart virus, and causes the wart to 'grow out'. Multiple treatments are required. OHIP does not cover hand warts, and the cost per treatment is $20.
Genital Warts - The treatment is covered by OHIP.
Skin Tags - We use either liquid nitrogen or cautery to remove skin tags. The cost is $50 per tag. This can be done on a walk in basis any Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm. Please print out this page and present it to our secretary when coming in to our office.
